Houffalize is een stad in de Belgische provincie Luxemburg. Het stadje heeft zo'n 500 inwoners en is daarmee de op drie naar kleinste stad van België.
Houffalize ligt aan de rivier de Ourthe.
Tot en met 2010 werd er elk jaar een wereldkampioenschap mountainbiken. Nu worden er verschillende, kleinere wedstrijden gehouden. Houffalize is nog steeds de Belgische mountainbikehoofdstad.
In Houffalize komen veel toeristen. Sommige komen om te kajakken, andere om te mountainbiken. Een andere toeristische attractie is een beverkolonie bij het dorpje Cetturu, niet ver van Houffalize.
