Proposal for a Wikikids-like Wikimedia Foundation Sister Project

Hi there,

I wanted to tell you that I updated and developed the proposal for a Wikikids-like Wikimedia Foundation Sister Project. The main page of the proposal is here. (By the way, Wikikids is a working title for this project, since it was used by the first proposal in early 2005. It doesn't mean that it has to be the final name of the project).

Some page are translated from Vikidia :

• For children or by children ?;
• Relation to the Rights of the Child and

You may find concern in them. Another page is Review of current existing wikis akin to Wikikids.

Vikidia would then be adopted as a Wikimedia Sister Project. Wikikids could join the project as well or not. The aim is not to unite all projects at any cost ! It is rather to allow Vikidia/Wikikids-like projects in other languages to be opened.

WikiKids komt op nieuwe server bij Kennisnet

Dag allemaal,

Omdat WikiKids hard groeit en er veel bezoekers op komen, moet WikiKids op een andere server worden gezet bij Kennisnet. WikiKids staat al op een server bij Kennisnet maar nu is het dus tijd voor een andere server. Er verandert verder niets (als het goed is). Het enige wat er gebeurt is dat komende vrijdag vanaf 16.00 je een half uur lang WikiKids niet kunt bewerken. Dit ter informatie. Gerarddummer 9 apr 2013 10:27 (CEST)
