Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson (Parijs, 15 april 1990), is een Britse actrice.
Emma's ouders heten Chris en Jacqueline Watson. Ze heeft een jongere broer, Alex (1992). Haar vader en moeder zijn allebei advocaat en ze zijn gescheiden. Emma woont nu in Oxford, en ze is vernoemd naar haar Franse oma. Ze heeft tot haar vijfde in Frankrijk gewoond, maar verhuisde daarna naar Engeland.
Op 14 januari 2003 kreeg ze de Award voor "Best Performance by a Youth in a Lead or Supporting Role - Female" bij de Phoenix Film Critics Awards voor haar rol in Harry Potter 2 (De geheime kamer). Na de 3de Harry Potter-film (De Gevangene van Azkaban) stond ze op de 8ste plaats in de Lycos Top 50.
Emma werd op haar tiende gecast voor de rol van Hermelien Griffel (Hermione Granger) en had eigenlijk een contract voor drie Harry Potter films. De 5de Harry Potter film, Harry Potter en de Orde van de Feniks (Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix) kwam in Engeland uit op 13 juli 2007.
Ze speelt ook in de zesde film, (Harry Potter en de Halfbloed Prins) de zevende (Harry Potter en de Relieken van de Dood deel 1) en de achtste film (Harry Potter en de Relieken van de Dood deel 2).
Ze is ook een model.
