Ryan Thomas Gosling (12 november 1980, Londen, Ontario) is een Canadese acteur.
Hij is opgevoed in Cornwall in Ontario door Donna en Thomas Gosling, wie mormoon zijn. Zijn ouders scheidde toen Ryan nog klein was. Hij had het moeilijk op school en vechtte met medeleerlingen. Daardoor gaf zijn moeder vanaf zijn tiende jaar Ryan thuis les.
