Los Angeles, Californië, 19 november 1962), bekend als Jodie Foster, is een Amerikaanse actrice.
Jodie is de dochter van Lucius Foster III and Evelyn 'Brandy' Foster. Ze heeft 2 oudere zussen en een oudere broer, Lucinda "Cindy" Foster (1954), Constance "Connie" Foster (1955) en Lucius "Buddy" Foster (1957).
Jodie is een van de weinigen die alle vier grote tv-awards heeft gewonnen, ze heeft namelijk twee keer de Oscar's, 2 Golden Globe's, één BAFTA Award en één Screen Actors Guild Award (SAG).
