Cumulus is een soort wolk. Het is een wolk die hoort bij de lage bewolking. Cumuluswolken zijn stapelwolken. Ze ontwikkelen zich verticaal (naar boven toe). Ze kunnen tot wel 18 km de hoogte in.
Er zijn 4 soorten cumuluswolken:
Cumulus humilis
Cumulus mediocris
Cumulus congestus
Cumulus fractus
