Op 26 oktober 2017 werd deze functie deels verwijderd door onbekende redenen. == Sociaal == Je kunt ook [[vrienden]] maken, door een ''friend request'' (vriendschapsverzoek) te sturen. Als je in een game bent kun je dat doen door bij de [[ranglijst]] op de add friend knop te klikken die je als vriend wilt hebben. Dan klik je op ''friend request'' en dan moet je afwachten of hij/zij je accepteert. Als zij/hij je accepteert kun je chatten, een vriendengroep aanmaken, samen met die persoon spelen enzovoort. == Naam == Roblox komt van [[robot]] en [[blok]]ken. In 2004 heette het eigenlijk DynaBlocks maar sinds 2005 heet het Roblox. == Bloxy Awards == Elk jaar heeft Roblox een award show. Dit zijn de Bloxy Awards. Elk jaar komt er een Bloxy Award Show waar er Bloxy Awards aan deelnemers word gegeven. Er zijn ongeveer 50 categorieën, zoals de beste mobiele game, game van het jaar enzovoort. De Bloxy Awards van 2019 werden voor het eerst gepresenteerd in een echte Roblox game. == Robux en Tickets== ===Robux=== Robux is een soort gamegeld. 400 Robux kost 5 euro je kunt betalen met je Credit Card, Paypal of met een Roblox cadeaukaart. Met Robux kun je bijvoorbeeld gamepasses kopen voor in games en je kunt kleding kopen. ===Tix=== Tickets zijn eigenlijk gratis Robux. Elke dag kreeg je 10 Tix, maar wat je met Robux kon kopen kostte veel meer tickets. 10 Tix staan gelijk aan 1 Robux. 1 shirt kostte bijvoorbeeld 100 Tix. Op 15 Maart 2016 werd door een blog post aangekondigd dat de volgende maand tickets zullen worden verwijderd. Roblox zei dat het ‘verwarring’ bracht voor nieuwe gebruikers, maar men denkt dat Roblox in de geldproblemen zat. De volgende maand, op 14 April 2016, werden Tickets verwijderd.
