Nederlands Timothy John (Tim) Berners-Lee Geachte Wikikids gebruikers, moderators, en dergelijke, Mijn naam is Tim Berners-Lee (volledig: Timothy John (Tim) Berners-Lee). Ik ben geboren in Londen, Engeland, op 8 juni 1955 Een van mijn collega's bij het World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) benaderde mij, dat er een soort Wikipedia is, maar dan voor kinderen. Wellicht weten de volwassenen onder ons al, dat ik de uitvinder, en bedenker ben van het World Wide Web (WWW). Toen mijn collega mij dus vertelde dat er een soort kinder Wikipedia is, werd ik nieuwsgierig naar hoe de kinderen met het internet, en de informatie die ze krijgen om (kunnen) gaan. Daarom heb ik een Wikikids-account aangemaakt, om dat te kunnen bekijken, en eventueel hulp aan te bieden. Mocht u behoefte hebben aan meer informatie, dan hoor ik dat natuurlijk graag. I was born in London, England, on 8 June 1955 One of my colleagues at the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) approached me that there is a kind of Wikipedia, but for children. Perhaps the adults among us already know that I am the inventor and creator of the World Wide Web (WWW). So when my colleague told me that there is a kind of children's Wikipedia, I became curious about how the children deal with the internet, and the information they get. That is why I have created a Wikikids account, in order to be able to view that, and possibly offer help. If you need more information, I would of course like to hear from you.
