Welkom op het Portaal Financiële districten!

Een financieel district, zakendistrict of central business district is een gebied in een stad waar het grootste aantal bedrijven en banken van die stad is gevestigd. Zo'n district ligt vaak geografisch precies in het midden van de stad, in het centrum en vlakbij het gemeentehuis. In de Verenigde Staten noemt men een financieel district een downtown wat letterlijk beneden stad betekent. Hier wemelt het vaak van de wolkenkrabbers en de bedrijven/banken vestigen zich vaak in deze hoge gebouwen. Er bevinden zich hier weinig woningen en in miljoenensteden werken dagelijks miljoenen mensen in het financieel district.
